BCD396XT Custom Search Trunking?

I recently replaced my 396T with a 396XT. What a nice improvement. It had been a while since I used the 396T and hadn't done any Custom searches in a long time. I set up a Custom search for Control Channel only and ID's show up but now audio. I checked the online .PDF manual but couldn't find anything on it. Is there a way to set this to hear audio?

One more question: If I download my information from RR to my scanner, are issues with rebanding (NYC) already fixed?

In addition to setting up your search limits, you will also have to tell the scanner what custom band plan to use. See EditBandPlan < UnidenMan4 < TWiki for more info. These settings are for rebanded systems in a custom search. If you've downloaded a system from RR using a program like Freescan, the program will automatically calculate these for you, is my understanding. Enjoy the 396XT, I consider mine the best scanner I've ever owned, and there have been more than a few.
