Bcd396xt - mpscs

How has everyone been programming sites on their 396XT? I've been using P25 Standard (Digital XT) system type and have been entering all primary and alternate control frequencies and setting for Control Channel Only. (I understand this is pointless).

Is all of this necessary? Does P25 One Freq Trunk work better?

Sorry if this seems a bit basic of question. I am new to MI and have been adjusting to this new-fangled radio system.

That's all you need to do. I"m not sure what you mean by "one freq trunk" - but in any case, don't bother.

thanks for the quick response. I'm now trying to get my QKs assigned the way i like. Takes so long to customize the device to your needs. (and i'm too cheap to buy a GPS). The One Frequency Trunk that I referenced is an option in FreeScan for a system type.
