BCD396XT Power Button

My BCD396XT's power button doesn't stick out as far as my other buttons on the scanner, and while it's in a leather holster, its sometimes very hard to turn on and off. When I first got the scanner I didn't really remember it being like that.

Does everyone else have the same issue, or is there something wrong with my power button? It seems like it "sticks out" about 50% less than my other buttons.

That is totally normal.

It's depressed to prevent inadvertent turn on's / power downs.

Awesome, that's what I figured!

The 396xt is one bad-ass scanner.

Yes, I agree one hundred percent. Now when I get mine back from the Uniden trauma center I'll really be happy!!
