BCD396XT scanning ham radio

I am new to this radio (1 week) and I don't know what I did to cause this or how to stop it. While scanning the freqs. I programmed, the radio displays "HAM Radio" with constantly changinging freqs. below the display when my progammed freqs. are not receiving any transmissions. When my programmed freqs. receive a transmission it then displays the proper info. but then returns to "HAM Radio" sometimes stopping on a ham channel. How do I get it to stop scanning "HAM Radio? Thanks

I have read this "manual" many times but as many have stated there is a steep learning curve for this radio. I am still trying to learn not only what this scanner does but some new terminology as well. I bought my last scanner at least 15-20 years ago. Thanks to the members of the forum who realize this!

Paul would that be just F+L/O for the non-XT Scanners?
