I have a 396xt that recently stopped receiving all bands, nothing has changed in the settings or anything. The radio has not been dropped or anything. I have tried deleting and reprogramming the entire radio without success. Anyone else experiencing similar problems? Thanks!

Does it receive the weather channel(s)?

Possible broken antenna connection. Try another antenna. Do you take the antenna off a lot? Do you use the BNC adapter or SMA antenna alone?

You tried the original antenna without the adapter I assume. It scans and never stops? And the ATT is off? The weather doesn't work ether....How often do you listen and when was the last time it worked?

check you squelch setting. top left side button, then press black knob down. Rotate to 0, you should get backgroundf noise. If no noise, put an externam speaker into the scanner speaker jack. Something that matched the speaker jack. you will bypass the radios internal speaker. Still no sound, looks like you are mailing to Unidewn.
