I was doing some programming today and my lists keep getting corrupted. I am really thinking this is a limitation of my current SD card storage size. How my favorite lists will this radio take? I have been trying to separate the lists by jurisdiction and then each jurisdiction by department.

I would replace the SD card. The card being full shouldn't cause corruption. What size card is it and how full is it?

The only limitation on Favorites lists is that the file size must be below one megabyte. Other than that, the only other thing is that you cannot duplicate quick keys for your lists, such as having more than one labeled as QK 1. But no specific limitation on how may you can have in total.

As frazpo's already noted, a card replacement may be in order. Be sure and format it before installation.

It is 4GB. What I did was reconstruct the database and now uploaded my favorites list after making a backup. Crossing Fingers.

Memory is inexpensive. Also an 8gb card will probably be class 10 and a bunch faster than the 4gb card (presumably the one supplied with the scanner).

While you may not need a new card, if you are still having problems, then I'd recommend formatting your card.
Use SD Memory Card Formatter 5.0 for SD/SDHC/SDXC

Once formatted, then use the "Clear User Data" under the Scanner drop down menu to add the needed files, the write to scanner to add your favorite list(s).

Getting a new, largest capacity SD card your budget will tolerate is a good investment. If nothing else, you'll have a second card ready to go. They all wear out eventually. The "Extreme" type of cards are designed for lots of read write cycles. The scanner is writing more than you may realize with replay features and such.
