I have a BCD436HP and I am trying to use RH77A antenna with an sma connector. It doesn't seem to fit the sma connector on the scanner. Any suggestions?

Does that antenna have a male or female SMA? It needs to be a male.
Scanner is male and antenna is female. Works fine with the supplied antenna but the RH77 A is also female. It just doesn't want to screw on. Must be doing something wrong.
That's odd as my 436 has a female on it (and yes, I'm 1,000% sure about this
). But I guess that's neither here nor there as long as you have opposite sex pieces it should work fine.
