Bcd436hp close call problem

i have bcd436hp scanner i have one issue with my close call settings whenever i press the channel mod button when the scanner is going it some how changes the settings on my close call from auto to fm nfm anf am the book says use the channel mod button the pause the scanner in scan mod what am i doing wrong please advise

It sounds like you are pressing the Channel button while Function is active.

not really i never noticed but i will look out for that and you are suppose to use the channel mod but to pause scanner in scan mode and the close call setting should be on auto correct
