Has a freshly full formatted, not quick formatted SD card been tried?

Check the OP's post # 17... it was the computer he was first using that was the problem.

I have used the on board sd card rader and it still takes 3 to 4 hours.

I believe he placed SD card directly in PC or in reader attached to PC (removed from scanner).

Lol I saw card reader and missed the onboard part.

Since using the older computer worked fine I downloaded the scanner to my newer one and it corrected the problem. I downloaded today's update and it works fine must have been something in the program on the newer computer but is has been corrected. Thanks for all the suggestions.
