Can someone direct me to where I can find what all the different info on the 436 screen mean? If it’s in the manual I must be overlooking it. I don’t know where to begin.

You can see the same basic menu in the manual file on Uniden's website, which can be found here:

Look at pages 27 through 31 in the pdf file. I prefer the downloaded manuals over the printed ones that came with the scanners. In the pdf file, you can use the Search function to locate things that are not clearly indexed,

hiegtx, thanks for the info. Somewhat answered my question. I guess I’ll have to keep studying. So many different lines, so confusing.
