I have the BCD436HP should I put a new SD card in it or leave the one that came with this scanner in it?
If I need to put a new SD card in do I have to go to Uniden or can I get them at Wal-mart and what would be the best SD card size to get ? THANKS

The one that came with it works just fine. If you do buy a new (larger capacity) you can get them from anywhere that sells them. Size isn't as important. Anything over 2GB should be more than enough. It would take a lot of recordings to fill up a 4GB card. A lot of people are using the Class 10 cards from SanDisk. Capacity is up to you. Personally, I would replace it. There is a lot higher corruption rate of OEM cards as opposed to replacement cards for some reason.

Still using the original SD card that came with my 436HP. Only had a problem once and that was solved by cleaning the contacts on the card and in the scanner.

It wouldn't hurt to have a spare SD card just incase. Roll with the original card, wait for a super sale on a SD card and grab it then.
