I saw your other thread about Uniden and NXDN. I would say that if Uniden does add that mode to one of its existing models it would almost certainly be added to the 436 first. And I personally believe they will add it eventually. Many have been clamouring for it, especially since the Whistler NXDN upgrade was released. And it is a mode that seems to be gaining traction, not just with railroads but also business and even Public Safety. I just hope they're not saving NXDN exclusively for the next generation of Uniden models.
325 is a nice scanner, but the 436HP is top of the line. For anyone looking for one scanner only, I always recommend either the 536HP as a base or 436HP as a handheld. Hands down the best available on the market today. If they were twice the price of a 325, one might think about it. But at only 100 dollars plus/minus more, no contest.
