Hello! Our new BCD536HP works well with its included telescoping BNC antenna. Our previous BCD996T had an outside ground plane ending in a UHF connector and a UHF to BNC adapter and worked perfectly. The BCD536HP receives nothing when connected to that ground plane UHF to BNC adapter and antenna. Why might the new scanner be rejecting this signal? The old 996T still works perfectly on that antenna.
Also, in my vehicle, the BCD536HP with direct BNC loaded antenna works well, but a Larson with a UHF termination and a UHF to BNC adapter hears nothing. Any ideas appreciated. Martin
