I was trying to monitor a XPT system tonight with my 536. The talkgroup numbers seem to be strange. Now I can only compare them to what I get from DSDPlus as I don't have access to the system info.

I think it goes farther than just XPT. IMHO, there is still a bogus TGID issue for DMR, Con+, and Cap+.

After rereading this thread, I realized the TGID issue post I made is off topic from the original posters subject. I have reposted my info to the current Uniden DMR release thread.

XPT talkgroups

Hi Chris, Do you have any more knowledge on as to figuring out why these talkgroups change periodically via conventional methods i.e scanner. I have some XPT in my town and a power station is using one which I monitor daily for educational fun. I am just confused why the uniden formatted talkgroups swap over sometimes to a lower range like 1048xxx or 3145xxx even though the actual XPT talkgroups 1 to 249 are technically set in repeater. I am thinking it maybe to do with the 'Interference Detection' feature on the RD985S.

I was trying to monitor a XPT system tonight with my 536. The talkgroup numbers seem to be strange. Now I can only compare them to what I get from DSDPlus as I don't have access to the system info.

DSDPlus TGIDs
180
182
184
186
190
191
193
194
196

Uniden TGIDs
1048756
1048758
1048762
1048766
2097332
2097334
2097338
2097342
2097343
2097345
2097348

However, if I put the Uniden ones into the DEC part of Windows Calculator in Programmer mode, I can see where there likely is an issue.
For example, the first one, 1048758 in Binary format is
0001 0000 0000 0000 1011 0110
If you only look at the last 8, it is 1011 0110 =182, which is one of the DSDPlus TGIDs. The others all match up as well.
1048756 = 180
1048758 = 182
1048762 = 186
1048766 = 190
2097332 = 180
2097334 = 182
2097338 = 186
2097342 = 190
2097343 = 191
2097345 = 193
2097348 = 196
(the 1048xxx TGs were rare)

I also have several debug files. Seems like it restarted a couple times on it's own but there are several good files. I uploaded the smallest, I have 2 bigger files as well.
