For the second time for my 3 month old 535 the unit keeps rebooting. I turn it on, it searches the favorites then it blackened 0ut, reboots, blackened out over and over. Any comments?

Replace the SD card.

Use a high endurance card such as:

Possibly an undersized AC adapter?

Power or SD Card cause that problem. Now if the OP would come back and report the fix we would know for sure.

Huh... I didn't even know they existed! Interesting...

I do believe there are several of those in my future as I have some devices (non-radios) whose operations seem to be within their design point.
