Hello!
I was wondering if it's possible to use 2 antennas at the same time on my BCD536HP ?
There doesn't seem to be any Wideband antenna that covers all the frequency I'm listening to, so I was planning on buying 2 antennas.

Thanks!

You can use a diplexer that has one antenna input for VHF and the other for UHF and a combined output that goes to the scanner. There are just a very small loss of signal with those, something like 0,1-0,2dB. There are different frequency ranges for those diplexers so choose one that seems to match your antennas.

One solution could be a discone for 100-500Mhz and a vertical gain antenna for 700-900MHz.

Another option may be to use an antenna switch. This might be useful if you intend to use a directional antenna when monitoring a specific source or system but then want to switch to an omni antenna for more "all around" listening.
