Here is what your Favorite List should look like with Maury County TACN and all the TACN counties that surround Maury. Only the control channels are included, which is all you really need. I included the TGIDs that you had programmed in.

Towers reduced from 139 to 10, Frequencies from 821 to 18. So scanning will be much faster.

Download the MauryTACN file, unzip and use Sentinel to import the .hpe file. Then write to the scanner.

And then go and buy a copy of ProScan, much better programming software than Sentinel, and does tons more!

I unzip the file extracted and tried to import it into Sentinel and doesn't seem to me like it went into Sentinel if it's supposed to look like what you showed showed me in Sentinel then it's not importing for some reason it does tell tell me that it finished importing the hpe file but like I said I don't see it in my favorites list my favorite list still looks like it did before no changes

Turn off the Master database on the scanner first.

Delete all favorite lists in Sentinel. Then import the file giving it a new Favorite Name.

If you run into problems, PM a phone number, will call and walk you thru it.

Okay, I’ve got everything in the scanner so far. I did get one hit from LifeFlight, but it sounded kind of garbled. I could understand some of what was being said, but it was pretty hard to make out. Is there some sort of setting that needs to be turned on or adjusted to keep the audio from sounding so garbled?

What antenna are you using stock or outside? If signal was garbled sounds like a weak signal.

I'm not familiar with settings on the 536hp, maybe someone else can jump in and help out on that.

Looking at Hampshire, TN on Google, it appears to be in a valley surround by some pretty high mountains, and lots of mountains between it and the surrounding counties, so you may only be picking up the Maury county tower in Theta thats 18-19 miles away, and their are lots of mountains between you and Theta.

Doesn't look like a good area for distance scanning. You maybe stuck with just programming in the local Maury county stuff and listening to it.

Yeah it's pretty hilly out here the antenna I'm using is a comet gp3 believe it or not it's only about 5 ft off the ground with a heel to my West and to my East but I can still pick up my Sheriff's Department EMS and Fire pretty decently thanks for all your help

5 ft off the ground is not very good, 20-40 feet would be better. Till you get the antenna up in the air you will have trouble getting any range at all. My antennas on 30 foot telescoping flag poles.

I did put together a Maury County conventional channel favorite list for you.

Again upzip, import MauryCONV.hpe to sentinel, tell it NEW Favorite List (so it doesn't message with the TACN list). Then write to the scanner.

Ya I'm in the process of moving a couple of antennas and I just put that one there temporarily it is going to be back up at about 35 to 40 ft eventually thank you for the the file for Maury County appreciate it a lot and thanks for all your help
