Ok; Here is what I want to do. I want to scan the inputs of my local P25 system in conventional mode. Say I have a given TG ID"8200". I would like to set up a list of the input frequencies, either 800 MHz and/or 700 MHz band and scan these for clear P25 traffic. Is this as simple as programming a conventional P25 repeater? The reason to do this is to receive local transmissions only (yes I know, dispatch will be missed).

I think OFT is what you want to use. But keep in mind this will only work for FDMA as you can’t listen to the subscriber side of TDMA.

How do you set that up. The term is not in the simple on line manual.
I’ve never used it so I’d have to look it up also.

Thinking this through I’m not 100% sure it will work on the uplink side of trunking as the data isn’t the same as conventional. I may try it tomorrow…or not. 😁
