Hey Guys;

Question/looking for suggestion...........I have a BCD536HP and I am looking for the best way to program multiple states (specifically New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut & Massachusetts) utilizing Favorites lists, etc. To clarify, the scanner is in my vehicle and it will be using an external GPS antenna. I would like to be able to have each state as a "Favorite list" and then each county under that state as a system? (I think?) I'd like to be able to turn each state on & off as well as each county within each state on & off if I wish. Not sure the best way to accomplish this through the programming.............suggestions are welcome! Thank You very much in advance!

Will you be GPS scanning? And When you say "each" are you implying every county?

Why not load all your states in separate favorite lists and then just use GPS scanning. It wouldn't matter which FL were on or off.

What month is it?
I went with each county as an individual favorite in other states I travel in frequently, and the outlying counties in my state as well.
The local jurisdictions have their own city favorite.

This way, the radio (via GPS) just turns on/off favorites as needed.

Assign a quick key for each state and then under that a quick key for each agency. You should be able to go 3 levels that are selectable.

State = Favorites List
Counties = Systems

Assign them all Quick Keys/Number Tags. You could assign QK's to individual departments in each county if you wanted to, but it wouldn't be necessary. You can turn them on/off using the QK's, or you could enable Location Controls and use the GPS to turn them on/off.
