BCD536HP Signal Strength

I am noticing an issue with my Signal Strength on my BCD536HP. The 700 Mhz (LWIN) sites are showing full signal with 5 bars and steady drop to 0 and 1 mainly during transmissions. At times the signal does drop while scanning as well without transmissions. When doing so the transmissions also drop out when this happens since the signal weakens . The Sites are very close. I have my antenna in the attic about 20' high with LMR400 cable.

Any idea why the sudden drop outs?

Make sure you didn't accidentally put attenuation on. Check the Integrity of your connections, being that your coax is inside you probably don't have issues with the Integrity of your coax or connections.

I would suspect simulcast issues.

If its issues with simulcast, what can I do to fix it. I don't recall having this issue before.

Try set the attenuator to On for that site. It could be that the system have been reconfigured in some way, probably a new site where added to cover an area that previously had bad cover.
