Can someone tell me about the why the nyseg data base doesn't work on here , everything else works fine on the scanner , it's not me , could be a scanner setting , or the RR database , it's not out of range. Cause the rest of the stuff is picking up locations 50miles out , it is a p 25 system phase 1 but I think the download on the sentinel might be missing something , it scans all the locations but never receives anything . Is anyone in upstate ny havering the same problem , thanks or is anyone actually picking up any sound at all !!!

If you are sure you see it scanning NYseg but it is not picking anything then the normal things like making for sure that in your Profile you have Monitor & Download ON and you have the correct "Service Types" activated by putting a check mark in the box next to the name will not apply.

Do you know if NYseg is encrypted or something like DMR, Provoice, etc.?

You might try posting in the NY thread someone there will probably know.
