I am considering upgrading to the Uniden BCD536HP and would like to know how well it is working in the Toronto-Barrie area. Can you enter the Canadian mail codes or just American zip codes to set it up for scanning your area ? Thanks Russ

Our feed is using the BCD536HP. It works nice, wished it had a dedicated recording port, and the smartphone app released, but it works well.
Yes, American Zip Codes and Canadian both work. When you set it up you can enter either or, and once its setup just hit the "ZIP" button and select USA or Canada.
Its very nice, and really easy to use! Easier WITHOUT the programming software actually.

I just got my BCD536hp ,about 3 weeks ago , I live down here in Windsor ,Ontario ... I just punched in my postal code and got all my Canadian stations. Even some from Michigan and Ohio , works Perfect !!
Thank you for the info on using the BCD536HP scanner. I may have a buyer for my BCD996XT so I can purchase the BCD536HP. Russ VE3ELL
Don't sell the 996XT you will reject it!
