BCD996 Possible Bug

Has anyone noticed this,sometimes the unit duing a transmission will cut out in the middle of a conversation then start up again..This only happens when the WX alert is on and the WX symbol is on in the lower left had of the display,try it...See if it happens like every 5 seconds there will be a dropout in audio and signal...

That's not a bug. It is supposed to work that way. When in weather alert, the weather frequency is treated like a Priority channel and the scanner checks it every few seconds.
