What does analog response time do I see it on proscan under general settings
Scroll to 'Response Time' and press E/●. |
This parameter determines how frequently the AGC factor updates. Decreasing this value makes AGC respond faster, but could result in "pumping." A higher value decreases the response time. |
Some of it I don't quite understand like priority settings yes or yes for priority plus and DND, which would be better to useYou seem like a curious hobbyist, so I would suggest you read the manual, cover to cover, a couple times like I did. Then read through every post on the forums here that contain ‘996p2’ like I did.
Then if you still have questions, come back with them but I suspect many of your basic questions will be answered.
Again this is explained in the manual Bob (Proscan) linked & JT alluded to but I'll give you the nitty gritty. DND = Do Not Disturb which means if there's an active transmission going on while this close call mode is active then said transmission won't be interrupted or "Disturbed" in favor of a priority transmission until the scanner resumes scanningSome of it I don't quite understand like priority settings yes or yes for priority plus and DND, which would be better to use
What is the difference between dnd and priority plus, I read this part several times more than anything elseAgain this is explained in the manual Bob (Proscan) linked & JT alluded to but I'll give you the nitty gritty. With priority plus if you set quick keys will 1 overide 2 and so onPriority DND (Do Not Disturb) scans all channels and checks priority channels every two seconds, but not while it's receiving a signal.
Priority Plus scans only the priority channels.
Priority scans all channels and checks priority channels every two seconds and will interrupt lower priority or non-priority channels.
I'm not sure. I think so.With priority plus if you set quick keys will 1 overide 2 and so on

Per the manual
