BCD325P2/BCD996P2: BCD996P2, Digital Modes?

Hello Everyone,

Just picked up a used BCD996P2, I am trying to figure out if the NXDX and DMR upgrades have been done to it, however I can’t figure it out.

I’ve tried going through the menu to the “upgrade” menu to input a key but it’s nowhere to be found.

Under System Programs I have these options, P25 MOT EDCS LT Conventional.


What am I missing?

Does it have the latest firmware? The other modes were added after it was released.

Make sure you have the latest firmware. The upgrades were not available when the radio was first released.

Thank you that was the problem, I am on version 1.03.11 I see I’m a few versions behind, lol!
