Perhaps this is an easy fix, I don't know. I paid for the DMR upgrade, entered the code, and everything seemed good. I used ARCXT Pro to add a DRM group (not exactly sure of the terminology), but it will not pick up any radio traffic. On my SDS100, I had the same issue, which was resolved by selecting the service types.

Does this 996P2 have something similar, and I'm just missing it?

What system, or agency, that you are trying to monitor?

Did you create a DMR system, with sires and talkgroups, or a One Frequency Trunked system, or just entered your frequency as a conventional channel? Since you indicated that your SDS100 also had a problem until you corrected the service type, this is in the database?

It doesn't show encrypted. It is a DMR trunked system. Make sure that the proper LCN's, Channel ID numbers, and Color Codes are programmed for each frequency. All of the frequencies must be entered, not just control channels.

Thanks, tvengr. I'm mostly certain all the channels are there since I used software for programming, but I'll check in a while when I get home from work.

It turned out the LCN numbers did not correctly pull over with ARC-XT. At least it was something simple.

Thank you.

You may want to send an email to Butel Software customer support and explain exactly what happened. They are very responsive at correcting problems and would want to know if the software is not working properly. There could also be a problem with the way the Radio Reference database is formatted. In either case, they will get to the bottom of the problem and take care of it and let you know the final solution.

Sorry for being nonresponsive here; I've been slammed at work this week and just now coming back here. Thanks for reporting it to Butel, and it's good to hear they will provide an update at some point.
