BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Bcd996p2 ethernet connection

What is the best way to connect a 996p2 to a ethernet connection, from the back serial port to null modem or the front usb mini A port.
Don't want to buy another sds200 just for the ethernet port, and the sds200 sucks on analog

Not going to happen directly. If you have a PC connected to scanner and to the network then you might accomplish what you want to do.

If your computer has BT you could use a Serial-to-Bluetooth adapter for wireless connectivity. I use multiple ones on various Uniden scanners.

Pretty sure the 996P2 has zero LAN compatibility.

Then buy PROSCAN and connect to your 996p2
BTW my 2 SDS100's and my SDS200 all work great on ANALOG DMR P25 and NXDN
