BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Bcd996p2 ethernet connection

What is the best way to connect a 996p2 to a ethernet connection, from the back serial port to null modem or the front usb mini A port.
Don't want to buy another sds200 just for the ethernet port, and the sds200 sucks on analog

If your computer has BT you could use a Serial-to-Bluetooth adapter for wireless connectivity. I use multiple ones on various Uniden scanners.

Several members on here insisted this won't work, but I've been using them for almost 2 years now connected to ProScan. If I can get this to work ANYONE can.
