BCD325P2/BCD996P2: BCD996P2 use of rec (record/tape) jack

I've purchased the 996 to use on my broadcastify feed. I'm trying to set up the REC jack for audio. I see that the manual says to set the RECORD option for each channel but I don't see that box available for P25 talkgroup channels. I do see a radio wide option for record and I have that checked. Am I missing something?

It looks like you are using FreeScan. Make sure the simple view is NOT checked. The REC OUT selection is to the left of comments

What version of freescan? Mine (218 beta 6) has a rec column.

Make sure the software page fills the entire computer screen. If not, the Rec Out column will be chopped off.

OK Thanks. I ended up having a friend remind me to scroll over to the rest of the fields. Turns out it is operator error on my part.

So, after a little humble pie I got the answer. I'm assuming that the next step would be to uncheck the global option for the scanner to record all channels and only check the options on each channel I want to record.
