A small quirk I noticed with the P2 over the 996XT. You can NOT select record all with the P2. (Well you can select it but it has no effect.) I had to manually put REC ON for every talk group I had programed. I use REC OUT for the audio for my feed and w/o REC being selected you get no audio.
The 996P2 is so similar to the 996XT that I don't see why it would work on one but not the other.
