Okay, i'm trying to listen to the NJ Trunked system (Troop B).
I have a great diamond discone connected to a stridsberg active coupler.
BC780XLT and a BCD996T
Both listening to the above TRS.
The BC780xlt is killing the 996!
I love my 996, so this is especially distressing! I double checked the programming and while the 780 gets 3-5 bars, the 996 is only showing 1 bar. The 996 is also missing some of the messages completely... even when I hold on the channel (I get that "finding ctrl channel" message).
What am I missing?
I checked the programming (all the control channels are there, and i'm using Ctrl Ch only)
Squelch is okay
Switched the scanners thinking it was the jumper coax from the stridsberg (no difference)
Help, it's killing me.
