Found an issue with the Simulator.
It is not a big deal but because there is a way around it but there is a conflict between the simulator and the scanner as to which one modifies the clock. The GPS simulator uses system time (computer) as a reference rather than GMT and the scanner uses the time output from the NMEA sentences as if it were GMT and modifies it to display current based on your location.
To get around this you need to modify the scanner to GMT while in base mode to diplay the correct time or leave it alone and ignore it.

I have contacted the Developer to see if there may be future enhancement to the Simulator.
