hello, ive been considering getting a uniden scanner with the dynamic memory, however a major turnoff for me with the bcd396t is you have to use both hands to do certain things, (like turn on/off sub systems, i think is what theyre called) is that also the case with the bcd996t and bct 15, or can you do everything with just one hand??

Most everything that I do including locking in and out systems just requires one finger touch. I find the BCT15 fairly easy after you get use to it but it does have things I don't care about but all and all it beats the heck out of those non- selective scanners.

I have the 396 and the 996, The 996 is mounted in the truck because it is easily operated with one hand. It can be a little tricky thumbing around for the side function button on the 396 to hold down while pushing other buttons.
