Hey guys,

Using Proscan to program this beast and running into a question:

I have a system set up (labeled: The Valley) SQK 1

under that system I have 8 groups set up (8 towns labeled accordingly) GQK 1-8

under each group I have the specific freq's labeled ( fire, police, etc)

now my question is as follows:

when I stop on my system and manually search though my groups using the knob the top line of the display displays the system name while the line under that displays the Freq name. When I stop rotating though my group the top line alternates between the system name and group name.

is there a way to display the group names only while searching within a system? It does me no good looking for a specific freq if I cant tell what group I am in.

Hope I explained that thoroughly enough.

I don't think you can change that. I too find it quite anoying at times. It's even worse when on a trunking system with radio ID's enabled. Now both the upper and lower lines of the display are alternating. I wish for a firmware update to make the radio ID display for 2-3 seconds like a real radio does(/\/\)then switch back to the TGID alpha tag. As for the upper diaplay, perhaps it could swtich once to let you know what system your on then stay on the group you're in presently.
