BCD996T - FreeScan - Rhode Island

Hi, I just got a BCD996T and im using FreeScan , Can anyone help me out getting a .996 freescan with all freq in RI ?

I would suggest just trying to get one county's worth of data programmed. That way you have an easier time of it with the other counties.

We have an extensive user guide in our wiki - you can get to it via Help/Online Help in FS, but if you're not familiar with how DMA works, it would make little sense to you. I would start with the Easier to Read manual and our FAQ - those will be your biggest helps in getting started.

Hopefully you've already also gotten a USB cable and done the driver installs - and made sure you've gone through the menus in the 996XT to set up the ports.

I also see there might be some RI related stuff here - note that FreeScan can import ARC data...

mike thanks for the reply i was able to get the usb working with win7 and freescan but just need the files im willing to pay for it for 30?

I think joining SNE and getting the files from their area is worth the expense (if there is any)...

With all due respect, "no luck", we gave you all the advice and information on how to get your file.

But instead of actually listening to the advice given to you, you just want someone to do the work for you and give you a file.

So while you think you had no luck on "that forum", we gave you plenty of help and advice both there, and on here.
