Hi,
When I plug in a set of headphones (stereo or mono), the bottom speaker does not mute. The headphones work fine. It always worked until I decided to try and listen to 2 scanners at once (BCD996T and PSR-600) through 1 set of headphones (Which I know now was a dumb idea without using a mixer and/or combiner circuit). I used a stereo "T" (2 male to 1 female).

So here's my questions:
1. Has anyone run across this before? (I did a search with negative results)
2. How screwed am I?
3a. Can I repair this myself (resistor replacement, etc.) or is this a blown circuit?
3b. Does it need to go back to Uniden for repair?

Thanks in advance.
Happy Thanksgiving,

Rich

The only thing I can think of is reboot your scanner to factory defaults, and hope for the best. If it's under warranty, send it in for repair.
