i just received a new bcd99tt scanner. i tried to program the unit with arc996-pro software but when i press the scan button it scans all of the preprogrammed frequencies in the unit.
how to i turn these off or delete them from the unit. i will never use all of the preprogrammed frequencies.

I clicked on BCD996T up at the top, selected READ DATA - then when it read in the list of all of the ones programmed in the scanner I selected DELETE ALL.

Then, once they were all removed, I commenced with adding the systems I wanted.

Of course if you wanted to keep any of the systems in there that were preprogrammed, you'll have to selectively delete.

You have two choices:

1. Turn off the Quick Keys for all the Pre-Programmed Systems - Tedious!

2. SAVE the Pre-Programmed Systems to your computer (NEVER say never) and then load (while erasing scanner memory) ONLY what you want to monitor. I use Uniden's UASD (free) software, so I can't tell you how to do it with arc996.
