BCD996T Reappears at Radio Shack

The Uniden BCD996T has reappeared on the Radio Shack web site with a price of $599.99. However the BCD396T has not. I wonder if this is an indication that a new Uniden handheld is in the works?

I don't see any relationship to what Radio Shack carries and new Uniden products. I believe that UPMan has advised us of upcoming news when recent models have been released.

I don't think UPMan gave us a heads up when the BR330T was discontinued. In fact Uniden was very quiet about it, until word got out by other means. UPMan is probably not at liberty to discuss such issues, as it could stick Uniden with tons of inventory.

I will agree what Radio Shack does, or doesn't do, may not have a lot to do with Uniden, but it is odd that they took both the BCD996T, and BCD396T off their site for awhile, then only brought the BCD996T back, don't you think?

I'd have to think that RS online sales are way low on the Uniden "care about " list... If AES or CE drops the 396T then start questioning.
