BCD996XT firmware update ??

hey all. new to this scanner stuff, just bought the BCD996XT and im confused about the update. i was on youtube and is said you needed to update the firmware for the p25 adjustment. so i downloaded the updater and it gives the option for V1_07_03 v or v1.06.00 my scanner firmware said it had the V1_07_03 firmware on it. so I chose the v1.06.00 . and did the p25 adjustment. did I just got backwards? do I need to reinstall the V1_07_03 ? any help would be great. thanks

You just went backwards. Higher number is the most recent version.

crap. ok so reinstall the newer one and do I press the hold button and turn on the scanner like the last update?
