BCD996XT "LNK" pops up

I have been scanning some Federal frequencies today and I have noticed on some the radio will stop and will display LNK and it shows its receiving a signal I believe but there is no voice or anything. I have the audio type set to all. Anyone know what this means?

It stands for link control. This data marks the end of a voice call.
