Recently purchased a BCD996XT and have a few questions for the experts...
1. Is there any way to obtain the Connect Tone of a Trunked system with this unit? I know some of the previous models would (Pro-97, maybe)... Looking for this information simply to provide the update back to RR.
2. I've added my Systems and TG's to the unit and scanning is working well... On some of my local systems, there are a mix of Digital and Analog TG's -- is there any way to tell from the display that a particular TG is either Analog or Digital? I've set the option in FreeScan to "Both", but I'd also like to pin this down to provide back to RR.
3. On a few occasions, the unit will move to a voice channel as it should, but right before the voice appears, I hear a burst of noise. Does not sound like a CC, closer I would say to static. It lasts for half of a second, then the voice immediately comes across clear.
