So.. I had this brilliant idea (sarcasm) to factory reset my 996XT and them pump my original configs back in. Over the years, battling the simulcast distortion fight, I've been changing settings left and right. Finally came to the realization that its the scanner and it'll never be good in my location. So, I reset it to clean and resent the config.

Now, I get nothing from the P25 in Frederick. Analog works fine. I used ARC XT Pro and Freescan. I imported in the Frederick P25, verified the control channels, tried just Brunswick and just Simulcast, tried both together. Nada! What the heck did I blow up? Its been so long since I programmed this thing, I don't remember if I had to do anything special. I don't have to reband or anything like that right? What should I check?

If anyone has a config that I can try, please send.

Thanks.

make sure you only have one control channel active at a time. Also encrypted transmissions will be ignored.

Try a factory reset, then reprogram. I've had to do it before when the scanner memory gets a little *confused* (corrupted) when using Freescan.
