BCD996XT strange problem

I own three BCD996XT's One of them has a strange problem that I cannot resolve. While stopped on an active channel, the signal drops out for a very short time and then pops right back. It acts just like as if it were in a priority mode but is not. This is very annoying especially on the digital trunked systems as it won't always pop back up on the correct frequency the traffic was on. I updated the firmware to 1.07 with no change. The signal meter drops out at the same time the audio does. The other two scanners are rock solid both on audio and signal indicator. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks, Craig. KB0NDS.

Weather Priority or Close Call Priority or other Priority enabled?

Look at your display, is WX displayed on the lower right?

Look at your display, is there a Bulleye looking character on the lower right?

Do you think Priority is enabled?

Can you try cloning a "good" scanner to the "bad" one to see if the problem follows the scanner or the programming?

Yes the WX IS on in the lower right corner.

Glad it was simple!

Too bad you can't just program a weather channel into the normal scan lists and have the radio stop on the Weather channel when an alter tone is broadcast?
