I downloaded BCDx35HP Sentinel last night in anticipation of my SDS 200 arriving today. It has favorite lists that I did not create and it looks like they came from Home Patrol Sentinel which is still on my computer. I opened HomePatrol sentinel and the favorite list that appeared on SDS Sentinel is not in any of the current profiles on the HP Sentinel although it could be an old one. Anyway, just wondering if this happened to any other forum members. I think I’ll just delete it.

I suspect you may have a Home Patrol scanner that you downloaded and used Sentinel for that. Then you downloaded the x36 version of Sentinel, which is different software, but used the same file location setup. Since these are two different things you should have the Home Patrol files and the x36 files in different folders.

Both versions of Favorites Lists carry HPD file extensions, even though they are different. Sentinel merely looks for the HPD extension and not the actual file structure.

You can change the location where the x36HP version of Sentinel saves it's files by clicking on the Tools drop down menu at the top of the Sentinel main screen.

On that menu, select Options to change where that version will store any Favorites lists you create.

Click on the button with dots to browse for a new, o corrected, location.

You can verify which location is being used on the Sentinel version used by the older Home Patrol series the same way. If you confirm that the stray list that landed in the BCDx36HP version of Sentinel is indeed a stray, then, as you noted, you can just delete it.
