I got the PRV update for my BCD436HP as soon as it came out and the DMR a little after "as soon as it came out". Works as advertised.

I paid $50 each for my keys. PRV was definitely worth it because I can copy OKC FD now. DMR ... meh ... I also paid $50 for that one. I can copy DMR stuff just fine but McClain Co agencies aren't my main interest.

The voice part of both updates works just great (well, as "great" as low-bandwidth digital audio can be). The DMR part of the DMR update is meh. It's tricky to get the programming setup, IMHO. I've only really got it working right on the N5MS amateur DMR repeater which is, basically, a one-frequency trunk system. If I was more excited about McClain Co, I'd put more effort into it but ... meh. Again, I can hear DMR comms just fine but it's the talkgroups, etc, that are a pain.

Directly from Uniden. You have to register your radios here: myUniden - Customer Product Registration and Support Area (the key is generated based on your radio's electronic serial number). I think the $50 prices were "introductory" - I don't know if they are the same now.
