here is what mine has, dated 01-12-2014

You're looking in the trunked systems, not in the conventional data, which is higher in the list.

When you first open "County Systems", four from the top is a category marked "Los Angeles", and when you open that category, about 100 cities are listed, and then community colleges, county fire/EMS, and so on - keep scrolling down and you will see what Marshall has posted.

On a statewide system like Indiana's SAFET when I add some fire talk groups to my fire only favorite group it adds every county's frequency in the state. I assume I need to delete every county except for the one I want to scan? If so it only lets me delete them one at a time and would take forever. I must be missing something. Any idea? TIA guys.

Ah used the right pane to delete more sites at once. Still is this the best way to set things up?

Is the APP Ready for Prime time yet? or good enough?

Here is what Upman stated in the BCD536HP thread:
Unfortunately, Siren app is still in development. Pushing all parties as hard as I can. Will likely do a public beta (will only be taking official reports from our official beta testers, but will give you something to play with earlier than actual V1.0 release). That is still a bit off, too, though.

Also, per the product listing on the Uniden Website:

***Brand New Product*** The BCD536HP continues Uniden's tradition of leading innovation. HomePatrol Programming makes it the easiest-to-program mobile professional scanner we've ever made. Plus, the Wi-Fi feature lets you use the exclusive Uniden Siren App on your smartphone or tablet to access your scanner from anywhere in your home or vehicle+.
+App release 1Q2014.

I ordered mine as a Christmas present to myself. Think of it as the gift that keeps on giving!

In the Profile Editor window under the "Scan Selection" tab there is an option for each Favorites List to download or not download. Is this to mean that when a profile is programmed to the scanner only the Favorites Lists that are set to "On" will be sent? Which leads to the next question. If all Favorites List Download options are set to "On", can multiple Favorites Lists with the same Favorite Quick Key be turned on at the same time?
I don't know that that is the right question so I will ask it in another way.
Which Favorites Lists get sent to the scanner, the ones with Monitor set to "On" or the ones with Download set to "On" or all of them whether either is set to "On" or "Off"?
I apologize ahead of time for the mess, but that is how it is in my head at this point.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.1.2; en-us; LG-LS720 Build/JZO54K) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30)

Now just so i know, (in all honesty it may have already been said on here and i just didnt see it) will the app also be available for Android?

Unfortunate, but it appears this is the only way to delete sites from a multi-site system. FWIW, the HP-1 Sentinel is also setup this way.

What exactly does Download On mean? What gets downloaded? And where is that downloaded to?

Each favorites list in Sentinel can be tagged as "on" or "off" for download to the scanner. Only those tagged as "on" will be written to the scanner when "Write to Scanner" is selected from the menu.

It means the favorite list is downloaded to the scanner. If you unselect it, the file will only be on your computer.

I'm looking forward to the release of the Siren App. I plan on using my iPhone as the remote head. I always have my phone on me and it never stays in the car when I leave. I have mine mounted on a ProClip mount which is eye level for me. I can rotate my phone in any direction. Every time I get into my car the 536 Access Point connects to my phone. I have PhotoShop what it will look like with my setup.

BCDx36HP Sentinel Software & Siren App Discussion

Have the programmers ever considered the ability to do multiple selections?

I've always hated using Sentinel to do anything as it makes the job so much more difficult.

For example, on a very large trunking system with multiple sites, if I want to delete everything but the sites in range, I must delete them one at a time. Why can't I use the standard Windows selection tools such as Command-click and Shift-Click to select multiple sites?

When adding systems to favourites, why can't I use the same Windows tools to select multiple systems at a time? I must select one at a time and then scroll back up to the main database to add another in.

Seems like it would be a simple fix?

Are you referring to this in the software or the scanner. When I add a large system to my favorite I then go in and edit it. I'll select sites tab and then I can Control +A to select all and I will Control Click to un-highlight the one I want to keep. Then I simply delete the rest. I can demo this if you would like. Hope I'm understanding your question. Just trying to help.

Yup, missed that. That works for selecting large amounts of sites and departments. You've saved me quite a bit of time! Thanks.

Still wish I could multiselect systems when creating a favourites list. This scrolling back and forth is such a waste of time.

Glad I could help. FYI, I can also CTRL + Left Click up in the main database and select what I want and when I'm finished I just add them all to favorites. Saves me from going back and forth.

Wow, you're da man!

I've been selecting systems using the lefthand side dropdowns. You can't multiselect from that side.

I've never tried using the righthand side window.

Thanks!
