My 436HP arrived today! So far I love it, and it WAS worth the wait. Bought it from the Ham Station, those folks are AWESOME.

Now to sit down with the manual and a pair of headphones.

I ordered the 436 from the Salem, NH HRO store. They told me that it might ship from VA as the 536s arrived there before NH. Sure enough, I got my shipment notice today, that it shipped from VA, and will arrive Monday.

Finally after the ice storm in the south, my 436 has finally made it to a hub after sitting on the side of I-20 for the last 2 days. I should get it by tomorrow.

Is Scanner Master shipping for free?

Scanner Master had free shipping during the holidays when I preordered my 436 on Dec 26. They are no longer advertising free shipping on their website

Ham Station had mine in my hands 3 days after I ordered it. The company that originally I pre-ordered from still have not received any yet.

That is NOT true we do NOT make you sign for scanner ,so far none of my customers have signed as far as they have told me.
Not making sign for paypal orders either we only ship to paypal verified address.we want to use fed ex HOME because for many they are a full day faster than UPS plus SAT delv is a normal day with fed ex HOME.
A customer Indiana just confirmed to me via txt Fed left pkg at his front door.

Also I will get all tracking numbers as fast as I can.That usually will be the NEXT mourning after scanner ships.Most important to me is to get the 436 shipped first,tracking numbers second but i won't forget them.

Just placed an order for one from Ham station a few mins ago. Says "We can ship a few friday" then it says ships tuesday...How do i know when it will ship? LOL

I got my scanner!!!

I was happy to hear the knock at the door... then this...

After opening the box... I found this...

And I was happy.

No visible damage on the box.


Opening the scanner...

Now I am here...

I went ahead and slapped on the RadioShack 800Mhz antenna.

Ok... waiting for the batteries to charge!!!

HRO Woodbridge, VA received a shipment of 436's today and I picked mine up before they closed. Nice group of guys at that location.

I called Durham Radio in Ontario today and had two in stock. Bought one and they tossed in free shipping if you mention it.

Will get it next week so I am pretty happy with their service so far.

Also ordered one from Durham this morning, it should ship out tomorrow. They didn't take as much as I thought off my credit card so I'm assuming I got free shipping which I wasn't expecting. Cancelled my order from Radioworld as they said they wouldn't be getting the 436 in until the end of next week. Can't wait to get it as I've been without a scanner for a few weeks now since I sold my 396xt and I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms :0(

Ebay is sending 10% off codes for purchases up to $1000. The one I got was $507 minus 10% shipped free no tax.

Keep in mind that these codes are unique and can only be used one time.
