BCT-15 I-Call

I live in Wallkill in Ulster County. My home is on Rt.-32 right between Modena and Plattekill. Why it's called Wallkill is anyones guess. I have a Newburgh phone number, Wallkill address and live in the Town of Plattekill. I listen to Mount Beacon and Illinious Mt. I have had this BCT-15 about a month and for the last week I have had it set for I-Calls. Has anyone ever picked up anything while their scanner was set to I-Call? I haven't heard a peep nothing. If anyone in my neck of the woods has picked up anything could you please let me know? Thanks for your time........Ray

I know exactly zero about your system. However, Private Call ISWs are limited to particular radios that have that privilege, and most system operators keep that number to a minimum, since Private Calls impose a greater burden on infrastructure than group calls.

The Town of Poughkeepsie PD on the Illinois system can be heard using I-call occasionally. A lot of traffic that used to be heard on I-call is now on MDT or cell phone.

A lot of unidentifiable chit chat traffic can also be heard on I-call on Illinois.

I don't routinely monitor that traffic, but have heard it using a BCD396T
