BCT-15 Signal/Sound Problem

I am having some sort of problem with my BCT-15, The signal drops on pretty much every transmission I get every two seconds or so, I'm not sure why this is happening. Does anyone know if it is an issue with the scanner? I was thinking it was the antenna as I am not even sure what kind of antenna I am using with this scanner. I bought a Antenex ABSCANC that I am hoping is going to solve the problem but I have no idea. Any suggestions?

Check Close Call (2 seconds), Weather Priority (5 seconds), BearTracker Priority (2 seconds), or Channel Priority (2 seconds)

Thanks, I should have searched the forum before posting I found the answer, is there anyway to use beartracker without it causing this problem?

I had a very similar problem with my BCT-15 and I noticed that there was a WX in the lower right hand corner. I went to WX Operation and WX Alt Priority and turned it off. That fixed my problem.

I have no idea how I turned it on.
