BCT-15 susceptible to vehicle vibration failure?

I have the BCT-15 velcroed above the dashboard and I am worried about the vibration causing keypad failure etc. Should I be worried about vibration problems?

I have a BCD996T on a pedestal mount for almost 1 year in my Ford truck and have had no problems at all with it.

I swapped the BCT15 in the photos for the BCD996T after a couple of weeks. The BCT15 now enjoys itself as my dedicated streaming scanner.

I haven't noticed any wear and tear on my 996 in 4 months.
gotta hope Uniden planned for vehicle installs since they advertise it as a desktop/mobile unit.

I was hit from behind while at a dead stop and my bct15 was thrown from its mount. I would say that it was more secured than your velcro mount, but still wound up in the passenger floor. No problem was found when I was able to check on it. It didn't even have a scratch.
