bct 8 headphone jack

whenever i plug in my headphone jack and have it running out of a speaker it only will play though my left speaker? has anybody else had this issue?

Are you using stereo headphones? Only one side would play if the BCT8 jack is mono...that is an old scanner, after all...if that's the case, a stereo-mono adapter will do the job...Mike

i honestly never thought of that but yes it is a stero cable it just annoys me so much! I'll give hat a try though and see how it works! thanks a ton!
